Our use of the word "orthomolecular" is a nod to Double-Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling who coined that term. It means "correct molecules" or, as I like to translate it, "righteous molecules". Nutrients are the correct molecules to use for treating illness and Linus Pauling founded Orthomolecular Medicine.
